Write with Pride – I Dare You to Ditty

Hey young writers! It’s time for our next Write with Pride Workshop – I Dare you to Ditty! We are excited for our first Write with Pride workshop this semester led by our WWP Coordinator, Taria Person “The Realest Person.” In addition to being a regional Spoken Word and Hip-Hop Slam Champion, Taria is an actress, poetry book author, and visual artist. They are a graduate of Maplewood High School and the University of Tennessee – Knoxville. For this workshop, expect to create mixed media artwork that includes a ditty (a poem intended to be sung), and your own prints inspired by the great Andy Warhol and Jean-Michel Basquiat.
