The Write Time (Middle School)

This poetry, spoken word, and creative writing workshop is a chance for middle school youth to access the power of representing themselves through writing and speaking. Many of Nashville’s strongest young writers started to understand the importance of their pen and their voice in middle school. This is an important time for young people to learn how to share and process their thoughts and emotions. Open for grades 5th through 8th grade or ages 10 to 14.

This workshop series is a partnership between Southern Word and the Nashville Public Library’s Studio NPL.

Participant Acknowledgement: I understand that this registration is for a weekly workshop series running from January 11, 2021 through March 12, 2021. I plan to attend all workshops and will let the workshop leader know if I will be unable to attend any week.
