Music Production Master Class

The Music Production Master Class is for teens interested in learning how to make beats and produce music tracks. Participants may also schedule 30 minute recording sessions Tuesday through Friday. These workshops are open to producers of all levels as well as songwriters, singers, rappers, and anyone interested in producing their own music. Complete the producer certification program to be cleared to run your own recording sessions. This will be a hybrid program streamed from Studio NPL. You can attend in person at Studio NPL on the third floor of the Nashville Public Library or virtually. For teens in grades 9-12. This workshop series is a partnership between Southern Word and the Nashville Public Library’s Studio NPL.

September 13th Session will be led by Lij Shaw, an award-winning, chart breaking music and podcast producer, recording engineer, musician, and owner of a Grammy awarded recording studio, TheToyBoxStudio.com in East Nashville TN. He is also the host of the #1 iTunes podcast RecordingStudioRockstars.com and mix engineer for the annual backstage Bonnaroo TheHayBaleStudio.com. In 2020 he led the movement for SaveHomeStudios.com in Music City.
