Event Navigation

Youth writers, artists, and producers will create, revise, edit, and polish work in preparation for performance and recording. Participants will take part in writing, music production, and performance workshops that will get them ready for collaborative projects. Participants will gather virtually with family and friends on the final night for a showcase and listening session. Final Showcase, Listening Session, & Dinner will be on Friday, July 10 at 4:00 pm. The program will led by Southern Word veteran mentor and music producer Jarrel Pierson supported by a range of Southern Word writer, producer, and performance mentors. Open to rising 9th through graduated 12th graders.
