Write with Pride Workshop

On February 13th, this workshop will be hosted by Connor Methvin who aims to explore the connection between impressions and emotion in writing. Drawing from T.S. Eliot and other examples, attendants will discuss the idea of impersonality in writing as to appeal to a larger audience in one’s works and to create scenes of complex emotion. Following such, we will have brief periods of generative brainstorming, free-writing, and then set time aside for sharing writing for anyone that wishes to. Connor Methvin (they/them) is a queer fiction writer and English graduate currently residing in Murfreesboro, Tennessee.
