2024 Friendraiser

Whether standing with confidence at the front of their class for the first time or are receiving a standing ovation from hundreds of community leaders, youth are transformed through the process of developing, writing, and telling their stories. These stories create a community of empathy and understanding as audiences find common histories, new connections, and different perspectives. Join us to celebrate the growth and the lives impacted by Southern Word over the past year and look ahead to the coming year.

You are part of this positive change we believe is possible. We need your help to continue the momentum and continue to transform the educational spaces and supports available to young Tennesseans.

Join us and bring your friends to the 2024 Friendraiser on June 6 at 7:00pm at Rosemary & Beauty Queen for a night of community and inspiration. The event is free, but we will welcome guests to contribute to Southern Word’s future. This event is 21+.
